Boards Over Coffee is a cafe in my hometown (Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines) that offers coffee, food and well… board games. Obviously. I’ve noticed this place before but just had the time today to visit it. Definitely wasn’t disappointed. It may look small on the outside but it’s spacy and cozy inside with cute designs on their walls.
Also, their staffs are very polite and friendly. When they brought our orders over, they were smiling. They are also quite accommodating.
I wasn’t able to take a lot of pictures because I got distracted with the games. When I was younger, board games really wasn’t a big hit in our home and, being the youngest one in the family with an older sister who is 14 years older and a brother who is 10 years older, no one really was interested in it. So when I see board games, I really get excited. We tried to play Cards Against Humanity but it didn’t work out since there’s only three of us (me, my boyfriend and my best friend). Then we played Game of Life which was kind of funny and that game is totally against me. After that, we played my favorite, Monopoly Deal.
The food and coffee are so good and very affordable. I wasn’t able to take any photos of the food since, like I typed out earlier, busy with the games. Their prices range from P99 to P200. Totally worth it.
Will totally come back in Boards Over Coffee for their good food, good customer service and very cozy atmosphere.
